Medicated Man Drove Son To Store, Passed Out, Deputies Say
Under the influence of Oxycontin, Xanax, Soma and Oxycodone, a Riverview man drove to a Gibsonton Wal-Mart with his 5-year-old son Friday, Hillsborough County deputies say.
Christopher Marshall took more Oxycontin and Xanax while in the Wal-Mart's parking lot, and when he was in the store, he passed out and needed medical attention, according to a criminal arrest affidavit.
It was his 27th birthday.
Deputies arrested Marshall at 8:40 p.m. Friday. He was charged with one count of felony child neglect.
His bail was set at $2,000. He has since been released.
